    Little Tuvalu uses the currency Australian Dollar, even though it’s not part of the Australian government nor is it an oversea territory of Australia.

    In Tuvalu, you will not find any rivers and it is one of the countries which do not possess a river. They usually get water from underground and rainwater lenses. It sometimes amazes me how a country so tropical does not have any rivers found in it. 

    The null McDonalds

    The worldwide famous fast food chain is nowhere to be found in the tiny country of Tuvalu. Tuvalu being so small is one of the few countries that does have any, literally any McDonalds in the country of Tuvalu.

    Many factors can resemble this reason, the small population and small locative area make it impossible or very hard to design a Mcdonald’s. Sorry Tuvalians, no McDonalds for you!

    Tuvalu being a small country, is tho a land rich in culture and safety. Tuvalu currently does not possess any military, the reasons could be strong connections, low population, and relatively few. Tuvalus people are very friendly as the travelers state during their stay in Tuvalu.

    Despite vehicles found in Tuvalu, there isn’t a single traffic light found in Tuvalu or any atoll of Tuvalu. It’s clear how small Tuvalu is. But I never would know that it is this small to have no traffic lights found in Tuvalu, it’s sometimes shocking how mysterious these small countries in the world are like in the areas of Oceania, North America, and many more areas. 

    Footballers in Tuvalu?

    The most absurd thing about the little Tuvalu is, that a footballing nation can be found in Tuvalu. By football, I mean soccer, not American football. The back-to-topic, Tuvalu has a national football team that competes tho not in the World Cup, in pacific games is a huge shocker! Small countries sometimes amaze me.

    The german language, which people think is only spoken in Germany, but that’s not the case. The german language has about 95-100 million speakers and countries like Austria, Switzerland, parts of Belgium, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein are german speaking countries. One plus fact is that the german language does contain more letters than 26. It has 29-30, ä,ö and ü and ß, depending on if you consider it or you identity it as a double s.

    No speed limit

    Most german states/cities do not have a speed limit on the highway. And it doesn’t matter how much you speed, you won’t get a ticket or get fined most of the time if you’re on the highway. 

    The german government thus recommends a speed of 120-130 km/h for safety. Since no speed limit can sometimes be very unsafe and frequency of deadly accidents can occur. 

    Largest GDP in the EU

    Germany has arguably the highest GDP in the European Union and is the richest country in European Union. It’s GDP considers about 4.2 Trillion Dollars. It is so high up in the list and currently ranks at fourth place. Countries like Japan, China, US are above Germany in GDP. 

    Berlin is bigger than Paris

    The capital of Germany is bigger than the monumental capital of France, Paris. Berlin is about 9 times bigger and has more bridges than the “river” city Venice. Berlin having about 1700 Bridges and Venice with 409 Bridges.

    To be honest how many sausages you know? Well Germany has over 1000 types of sausages! Germans are typical sausage lovers as they consume sausages to times like breakfast and dinner and sometimes even lunch. Germans have a huge love for processed foods like sausages, cheese and like to eat it bread.

    The capital of Germany currently is Berlin, before that it has been shifted about seven times. Cities like Bonn, Aachen, Regensburg and many more we’re capitals during territorial expansions, kingdoms etc.

It’s from german language and has 79 letters and considered the longest word. It’s almost like a tongue twister, good luck trying to speak it.

    Most of the taxis driven in Germany are produced by the company Mercedes. So when you’re roaming around Germany you’ll see taxi drivers driving a mercedes. Companys like Loster mostly have Mercedes taxis.

    French people consume snails, not 25, not 250, not 2.500. But they consume over 25.000 tons of snails every year. The average resident of the French Republic consumes about 500 snails every year. Snails are often enjoyed in the warm or cold holidays of the year. 

    Biggest Border

    The biggest border doesn’t lie with Germany, Spain, Belgium, but with Brazil! Brazil a country so far away from France (about 8.600 kilometers) and located in the other Hemisphere has the biggest border. And how you may ask? French Guyana is still a colony of France and shares the biggest border with the huge country Brazil at about 730 kilometers.

    As spoken in the previous topic, France has a colony called “French Guyana”, but France doesn’t only have this overseas territory. The country of France has a total of about 12 overseas territories, 13 if we include the “claims” to Antarctica. And yes in the whole world, France has the most timezones.

    It is absolutely 100% true that supermarkets in the French Republic can’t throw away food that is of “best by date” , they must donate the food to a food bank or charity as per the law of 2016-2017. People are considering that more countries should implement this law in poorer countries like Madagascar or Haiti, where people have barely anything to eat.

    The art museum called “Louvre Museum” in France has the interest of many since it holds masterpieces like the Mona Lisa by the genius Leonardo Da Vinci and pieces like Raft of the Medusa.
